Welcome to the Polish Music Competition - Australia 2025
The Competition is open to young musicians living in Australia - 17 years and under.
There are three age categories: 11 years and under, 12 to 14 years and 15 to 17 years.
The instrumental categories are: Piano and Strings (violin, viola, cello).
The new Vocal section of the competition will be held in two age categories: 15 to 17 years
and an additional age group of 18 to 21 years old (does not apply to the piano and strings categories).
Due to structural changes of the PolMusicA project, applications will be accepted from 1 July 2025.

Professor Paweł Zawadzki of the Academy of Music in Wrocław, the Chairman of the Jury PolMusicA of the 2021-2024 competition, received the 2022 Award of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage in the field of Artistic Education. This prestigious award recognises individuals who have made significant contributions to cultural development, dissemination and preservation since 1997 in 18 categories.
A distinguished pianist and educator of international acclaim, he has excelled both as a member of prestigious piano competition juries and as a mentor. His significant contributions to the education of young artists have been acknowledged, with his students achieving remarkable success and winning numerous prizes at major international and national piano competitions.
